Our 2-week Board and Train program is designed to provide intensive, personalized training for dogs with specific behavioral issues or obedience challenges. During the two weeks, your dog will stay with us in a controlled, safe, and supportive environment, where they will receive around-the-clock attention and expert training.

Program Details:

Week 1 : Foundation Building & Behavior Modification

• Assessment & Goal Setting: The first day involves an in-depth evaluation of your dog’s behavior, temperament, and any specific concerns you may have. We’ll discuss your goals, customize a training plan, and determine the best approach for your dog’s success.

• Basic Obedience: Focus on foundational commands such as "sit," "down," "come," "heel," and leash manners. These commands are essential for effective communication and control in various environments.

• Behavioral Training: Address undesirable behaviors such as jumping, barking, nipping, digging, or pulling. We will use positive reinforcement techniques to redirect these behaviors and replace them with more desirable alternatives.

• Socialization: Controlled exposure to other dogs and people to improve social skills, reduce fear, or aggression, and teach proper interactions in different settings.

• Crate Training & House Manners: Teach your dog to be comfortable in a crate, fostering calmness and structure in the home. House training and appropriate indoor behavior will be reinforced.

Week 2 : Advanced Obedience & Custom Behavior Solutions

• Advanced Obedience: Build on the skills learned in Week 1, refining commands and increasing reliability in distracting environments. This includes longer duration stays, off-leash work, and more complex commands.

• Behavioral Refinement: Further address any lingering behavioral issues, whether they relate to fear, aggression, separation anxiety, or nuisance behaviors. Using desensitization and counter-conditioning techniques, we will work toward permanent behavior changes.

• Public and Real-Life Training: Expose your dog to real-world scenarios such as trips to pet-friendly stores, parks, or public spaces, reinforcing obedience under distraction and teaching your dog to remain calm and focused in various environments.

• Owner Education: In the final days, we’ll provide you with a comprehensive training session to ensure you’re equipped with the knowledge, tools, and techniques to maintain and build on your dog’s progress at home. We will cover proper reinforcement, handling, and strategies to reinforce good behavior.
